CAMPS & CLINICS
Camps and clinics are a great condensed way to receive quality instruction, increase your skills, and meet other players. While boys-only camps and clinics are few, we hope demand and supply will increase in the near future.
BYU consistently ranks at the top in collegiate men's national volleyball and they share their expertise through summer camps for youth. These week-long camps are held at Brigham Young University in Provo and offer professional coaching and skill-building. Participants come from all over the country and local youth can opt to stay on campus or simply attend from home. Players always come away with an armful of cool stuff in addition to tips for their technique. Only the last 2 camps are open to boys, so secure a spot when registration opens in late January.
Local Recreation Centers
Check with your local county or city recreation centers - many offer beginner clinics or leagues that can get your son started in the game. These programs are traditionally co-ed (girls being the majority) but can be a fun place to start with a group of friends.
